Bénédicte Gimonnet is a contemporary French artist who was born in Clermont-Ferrand. She studied printmaking, drawing and painting at the Putney School of Art between 2000 and 2002. Gimonnet graduated in Fine Art Painting from the Wimbledon College of Art in 2006. She has been living in the United Arab Emirates since 2009 and teaches painting, drawing and history of art. She creates abstract paintings, featuring organic and geometrical shapes. Gimmonnet has had various exhibitions in the United Arab Emirates, including Salwa Zeidan Gallery, United Arab Emirates of Culture and French Institute. Her work is included in various private and public collections across the world, like Goldman Sachs, Clerical Medical, Khalidiya Palace.
